Below are some of our engineers' projects experience. Broadway Street was awarded the best capital improvement project by American Public Works Association (Texas Section). Access Road, as part of the CWA Luce Bayou Interbasin and Trinity River Pump Station project, was awarded an outstanding civil engineering project by ASCE (Texas Section).

 

 

Provided engineering design and construction phase services for approximately 10,000 linear feet of reconstruction along Broadway Street from IH-45 South to Airport Blvd - Gateway to Houston's Hobby International Airport. Design services also included storm sewer evaluation and drainage design, 12-inch water line, 12-inch to 48-inch sanitary sewer lines, traffic control, storm water pollution prevention, traffic signals, street lighting, signing and pavement markings.

Provided engineering design and construction phase services for approximately 2,000 linear feet of reconstruction along Buffalo Speedway from US-59 North Service Road to Bissonnet Street - converting the existing 4-lane boulevard roadway to a 6-lane boulevard with exclusive left-turn lanes at the intersections of US-59 Frontage Road, Westpark Drive, and Bissonnet Street. Design services also included drainage, water line, sanitary sewer lines, traffic control, storm water pollution prevention, traffic signals, street lighting, landscape and streetscape, signing and pavement markings.

Provided engineering design and construction phase services for reconstruction of Cleburne Street with shared-use paths from Scott Street to Ennis Street, Rosewood Street from Tierwester Street to Scott Street, and construction of bike lanes along Blodgett Street from Scott Street to Ennis Street and Tierwester Street from Blodgett Street to Rosewood Street, mill and asphalt overlay along Sampson Street from Cleburne Street to Wheeler Street, landscape and streetscape, tree protection, drainage, water line, sanitary sewer, sidewalks, wheelchair ramps, pedestrian lighting and street lighting, signing and pavement markings.

Provided engineering design phase services for approximately 5,200 linear feet of US 99 Grand Parkway's new main lanes and main lane overpass bridge at Bellaire Boulevard. Design services also included MSE retaining walls, traffic control, storm water pollution prevention, drainage, utility coordination, signing and pavement markings.

Provided engineering design service for the design-build of approximately 8,000 linear feet of dual 108-inch raw water lines from Lake Houston to Northeast Water Purification Plant (NEWPP). Design services also included coordination with other engineering teams on the construction of electrical ductbank, access road, and storm sewers within the same water line easement, and resolved conflicts with the existing 66-inch water line, 8'x4' RCB, and 66-inch storm sewer serving the adjacent neighborhood outfalling to Jack's Ditch.

Provided engineering design services for the construction of the Coastal Water Authority's Interim Access Road and Final Access Road in Liberty County - a distance of approximately 5.5 miles. Design services also included approximately 1 mile of dual 96-inch raw water lines that convey raw water from Capers Ridge Pump Station to Luce Bayou.

Provided public utility engineering design and construction assistance services for the METRO North Corridor Light Rail construction along North Main Street, Boundary Street, and Fulton Street from the University of Houston Downtown to North Line Mall - approximately 5 miles.

Provided land planning and engineering design services for Sections 1 and 2 of the Lakes of Avalon Village Subdivision - a master plan of approximately 450 residential homes and a recreational center. Design services also included grading, drainage, detention basins, water lines, sanitary sewers, force main, lift station, traffic control, stormwater quality, signing and pavement markings, and street lighting.
